Manny the Marmot is a story about a family that works together. Miguel, their young son, goes off by himself to find a new place to live. He encounters a lot of danger. His parents Manny and Marta are very worried and go to look for Miguel. They tell him the world is not always a friendly place. He needs to tell them where he is going. The story ends happily. The family moves to the new and safer place that Miguel has found. The young marmots all promise to never go anywhere without telling their parents where they are going.
